Some of you may have already heard that the metro app for OneNote got an update in the Windows Store yesterday.
The app can now unlock protected sections by allowing you to input the password that you protected the sections with via the desktop versions of OneNote.
Those of you who use OneNote on an iOS or Android device will know that this feature was already available in those versions. Odd that Microsoft took so long to enable that feature in their own app. For me, it really highlights the amount of work that Microsoft needs to do in their app development department.
I'm by no means a software programmer... but I was a bit disappointed to see that despite this long awaited update, the option to apply a password on to a section via the app still isn't available. I still have to go to the desktop app or web in order to create a password.
Are my expectations too high?
