Signing into live

Hi

Just brought a surface yesterday off ebay. When I try to log into on live apps it says I cant connect. I'm in the ok and looks like I have a usa surface.

Any ideas ?

Any of the Xbox live games or the music app.

When I try to log in I get this

Error: ?Sign in to preview or play this? | Windows 8 Apps Error Code x0c00d1354 - Xbox.com

I do have a windows live id, been with Xbox since release day

Windows Live account linked with your Windows 8 login requires an email address and password. They should both be the same.
