Surpirisingly, it looks like there's quite a bit of dead space under there. It would have been nice if they figured out a more efficient layout in order to provide bigger batteries.

I think that 'dead space' is an illusion from the photos. I suspect it is pretty packed in there.

Interesting photos. Didn't see the WiFi antennas, which I was curious about. My Book WiFi performed better than anything else in my house.
