Nope, the deal is for a "Surface 3".

Specifically $150 coupon for Surface 3 plus at least $50 trade in for the $200.
However if your trade in is worth more than 50 it's 150 + Trade in value off.



You could perhaps trade in a device, + coupon and buy a Surface 3 then sell it independently and perhaps make $150+. Of course you would be out of pocket hundreds of dollars until you sold it.

The coupon sorta makes up the difference of what you might get selling your device yourself. i.e They will give you 89 trade in for a 64GB Surface in good working order but you could probably sell it for 200+.
