Surface Rt circle by tabbing

Hey,
when im on the start screen and tab onto the background without hitting any app or gesture i see a little circle around my finger.
or for example, if i go into the bing eather app and swipe from the top to the bottom , i see a tiny little line following my swipe.
im german, thats why it is hard for me to explain but do you know what i mean and do you have this lines/circles too?

Yes, the opaque cirlce is a confirmation of touch.

This small circle is by the way the only real way to estimate your pointer-position while using the surface without a mouse/touch pad in a second-screen-only set-up.
And yes, everybody should have this.
