Turn off palm recognition?

I draw with my Surface Pro 3, main reason why I got it. When I use photoshop, there's actually an option that allows you to turn off palm recognition (it would only identify the pen). Is there an option like that on Adobe Illustrator while using the Surface Pro 3?

Hi ProjectCornDog,

From your description, it sounds like you want to turn off "touch input" (easily done), and not turn off "palm recognition" (not possible). Palm recognition is the function that gives priority to the pen over touch input when the pen is close to the screen. If what you really want is to turn off touch input altogether, the easiest way is to disable the touch device in Windows Device Manager. Instead of doing that manually, you can use a few programs and scripts that are found here and there. Perhaps the simplest is my Tray Touch Toggle, which you can use to toggle touch input on and off from an icon in the system tray. See first post here:
