Windows 11 power management

Sup Guys,

As i don't really use my Surface Pro 3 anymore i've updated to Windows 11. Just out of curiosity.

The first thing i realised was whenever i took my Tablet out of the storage after not using it for a while the battery was completly empty!

Blamed it all on connected Standby and deactivated that one.
Guide here: Enable or Disable Modern Standby Network Connectivity in Windows 11 Tutorial
Code:
powercfg /setdcvalueindex scheme_current sub_none F15576E8-98B7-4186-B944-EAFA664402D9 1

Sadly when you deactivate Connected Standby Power schemes become broken....
Device doesn't enter standby anymore and just turns screen off.

Because of some reasons Windwos 11 hast a reduced energy options...
Okay.... let me rephrase that.... they included an awesome looking pretty useless battery statistics but removed usefull features?

Even the old Edit PowerPlan Settings needs to be configured in the submenu...

(that actually showed somthing like 36'120 Minutes until hibernation....)

So i'll report back in a few days how much better it works with hibernation and deactivated Connected standby.

In the meantime. Anyone else updated to windows 11?
No issues there?

It doesn't.
But just for trial and error I created a second partition and installed it.
Works pretty well except standby/sleep.

Hmmm, maybe I'll take the plunge. Losing Standby/Sleep would suck, but they never worked that well on the SP3 without serious fiddling. Any recommendations on the Win11 installation?
