When i tried to start up my surface, it flashed up with the usual start up screen saying surface. However, it quickly flashed off and went dead. A couple of seconds later it did the same thing. It is stuck in a loop if trying to turn on but only get to the surface screen before going dead and starting again. I have tried restarting it but it doesnt seem to help.
Is there any thing else i could do?
Thanks

There's a section in the official troubleshooting page for this that might help: Windows won't start or stops responding on Microsoft Surface RT or Surface 2

Surface is stuck on the Surface startup logo

If your Surface is stuck on the Surface startup logo, turn off Surface and then turn it back on:

Step 1: Press the power button and hold it down for 10 seconds.
This ensures that Surface shuts down instead of just going to sleep.

Step 2: Next, press the power button to turn Surface back on.

If shutting down Surface and turning it back on doesn't help, your Surface needs service. Request service at the Surface Online Service Center.

you just might want to try connecting the charger to it, and allowing it to charge for a while. also remove any microsdxc memory card, or usb device connected to it.
