Why not wait to buy an SP4 and keep the SP3 as your backup?

We should find out in 5 days when the announcement comes on Oct 6th.

Well, I went ahead and bought the Surface 3 with 4G LTE/128GB/4GB. I decided I want something smaller to bring out with me. I'll be using both the SP3 and S3. The SP3 will be at home use, and the S3 will be while I'm out. I may go ahead and upgrade to the SP4 when it does eventually come out, but probably not on day one.

I bought the S3 through AT&T, so it won't be here until Monday. I'm anxious to set it up like my SP3. Maybe I shall call it, "Mini S3.".
