I have two Dell P2415Q 4k monitors. These finally work fine for the most part with the Surface Dock. The downside of driving two 4k monitors is that the refresh rate per monitor drops from the optimal 60hz to 30hz each. These is due to bandwidth limitations.

With the Intel tool linked below it is possible to create custom resolution. I recall a post somewhere that in theory the bus should allow for both monitors to be driven at 50hz or close it with the native Surface Book screen closed/off.

Has anyone tried this? I have a while but at the time two dual 4k were not even working properly at 30hz. Before I try again, I thought I'd ask.
