Fine Scratches on Backside of SP3- Possible Touch Up Solution

I have only had the SP3 for a few weeks and really enjoy it (replaced my Macbook Air and Note 10.1 tablet). While I have a screen protector on it and am careful, I am noticing more and more fine scatches on the backside. I know it is meant to be used and gives it character, but eventually I may "dura coat" the back ha ha.
Also, a friend of mine at Lowes was able to use the spectrophotometer on it a match the magnesium colored paint. Just an FYI in case anyone eventually wants to do touch-ups ha ha

I would have a look at the skins from sticker boy. I got the black leather one and just love it.

I agree, the first thing I did was order stickerboy as I already had a paint chip after 10 days (I swapped that one out) and I ordered the brushed aluminum, looks very close to the original SP3 color.
