Graphics Drivers

just wondering if its best to always use the drivers microsoft provides in the updates or if i should get directly from intel for the pro 2?

From my experience so far, every microsoft released video drivers update have been quite buggy, removed the intel control panel, makes my sp2 run hotter, whereas the .3621 intel version has been stable so far. I haven't tried the latest 08/07/2014 version of microsoft update, been burn too many times trying their update. Anyone know what the newest video drivers update from microsoft adds?

I just tried to install new graphics drivers from intel today. It identified the lastest version but when I went to install it, i said it had been moved, removed or archived? I'm at work at the moment so cant look into this further. I have the 4200 i5

You have to download the .zip file and manually install the driver in device manager to get it to apply, after that you can run the regular installer without issues.
