How to pin a video to start

I can pin music tracks to my start screen, but for some reason pinning videos is not done the same way (there is no 'pin to start' in the right-click pop-up menu). How am I able to pin videos to my start screen? Please help.

Thanks,
bonk!

Here's what I do:

1) Create a folder somewhere to store such shortcuts.
2) Pin that folder to Start.

Place shortcuts to any videos, pictures, documents, or items you wish to launch from Start in that folder there (right-click, Create shortcut). You will be one-step from launching them.

The shortcut folder may even be stored on the Desktop.

From the link

"Microsoft has disabled the programmatic access to Start Screen items pinning in Windows 8.1 and above. This is impossible to fix."

That sounds rather definitive.
Have you tried the utility? I doubt my SP3 is that special that it only works on mine. I noticed that message is dated September, 2013, but I've been using the utility since September of 2014, (when I bought my SP3), and I haven't encountered anything it wouldn't pin: Files, folders, programs, and videos, like the op was looking for.
