Loss / hidden of power / shutdown icon

(very clumsy title)

Ok the 'start button' that we use to shutdown the Surface is hidden under the windows icon.

picture worth a thousand words....

This seems to happen when the Surface sleeps and awakes, and started after the last update.

Many other things fail after it sleeps too, like oh settings will not launch....

Though not a solution to this problem, a work-around could be to make a New Shortcut on your desktop to C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe /s -t 01
Name it Shutdown and you can even right click it/Properties/Change Icon and pick an appropriate icon for it.
A shortcut to C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState 0,1,0 will put it into Sleep and to C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe -r -t 00 will Restart.

If you move or copy these shortcuts into C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs they'll show up on the Start Menu and you can right click them there to pin as a tile.
