Something strange happened today. It has been docked for a long time, but today I liberated my Surface Pro 2 and brought it along. Removing the Type Cover made it lose mouse and pen connection. Rebooting and it all came back. Then after an hour or so it list all those again, restarting did nothing. Then it wouldn't even do that, just a white Surfaces on a black background. Volume plus Power brought out back, but when I tried a system restore to a point two days ago the black screen returned.
Then I came home, inserted it in the dock and all was good again. Is my Surface homesick?
