Startup problem...slow....just started today??

It goes to the login screen quickly, but after I log in, it takes longer than it used to get to the start screen. I ran a disk cleanup and malwarebytes, but that didn't help. Suggestions?

Your SP3 may be busy with OneDrive,
or with startup procedures (check Task Manager, Startup tab)
or doing a backup, if configured
or having trouble syncing settings with other PCs or your account via Microsoft
or updating email
or actually finishing up some updates.

In that last case, if you keep trying to restart, the updates may be starting over every time.

The same thing happens when the system is finishing applying any updates, either system or anti virus but also syncing.
