I would like to use the stylus when a cover is not attached. Attaching the Microsoft TypeCover restores the stylus but removing the cover disables the stylus again. I restarted Waycom Professional Service. No joy! I don't know what else to do. Any suggestions? Edit, 9/8/14 When chatting with CSR at www.microsoft.com/surface/en-us the first suggested fix was to open Pen and Touch and make any arbitrary change and save it. The pen was still unresponsive. We tried several other remedies that didn't work. After ending the chat I went back to Pen and Touch without the Type cover attached to restore the change I made. After saving it the stylus worked perfectly. Curiouser and curiouser.
