I bought a SP3, curious to know how others make use of the pen on daily basis.
I use my pen for taking lecture, and reading notes. Other than that I've no use for the pen.
I'm a student at University in my first year doing a maths degree. I used to use my Surface Pro 2 for most my notes and recently upgraded to a Surface Pro 3 and now I use it for pretty much all my notes. Love being able to take clippings of questions from PDFs and insert them straight to OneNote, also having all my notes easily kept organised and also being able to have loads of textbooks with me (digitally) all the time without my bag weighing an absolute ton. So I use the pen for all my school notes, basically. It's great for maths notes, as a keyboard is useless for my type of notes.
Do you just take notes in OneNote?
Indeed. As a student, onenote has no equal. I've never found any value in being able to ink on edge and other office applications.
I use the pen multiple times daily for core body strengthening.
That is because it drops from my Surface and I have to bend down and pick it up.
OneNote....OneNote...OneNote...ink all of my notes
I use it for the Desktop version and the Mobile version, I also use it with PDFs using Drawboard.
Yeah I use Drawboard too, these two apps make the Surface Pro 3/4 an amazing device for students in my opinion, can't be beaten.
I journal with OneNote.
Check out this use with Outlook.
