Yes, Modern Portfolio Theory is getting a bit long in the tooth these days. Hopefully the update reflects the fact that profits don't follow normal gaussian distribution


But seriously, less than 2 hours of Tuesday the 8th left here in Australia but no update yet. I may start referring to it as patch Wednesday.

A commenter on that site said it comes out at 10am PST. Funny I came here right after reading that article.

Hmm, I just got some defender updates and some IE 11 patches but that was it.

Just got some updates, including one for Windows 8.1 for x64 based systems, but no visible changes. No Metro apps showing up in taskbar, no menu bar on top of Metro apps, no new apps highlighted. Weird.

Nope, although I did just get "problem finding updates" message or something like that. Their servers are probably getting crushed right now...

Ok, so I tried again and it said no updates. Hit "More Info" and there was 8.1 Update in the list of downloaded updates. Its like it didn't want to install on it's own. You should try the same.
