Auto pop touch keyboard

Is there a way to auto pop up the touchscreen keyboard whenever I click on any input box in IE or other browers?

I have read that it only works with metro apps otherwise you have to open the keyboard manually.

I would like to know if there are alternatives to the stock keyboard like there are on Android.

If you get the beta builds of Chrome (Canary version) it has support for touch screen devices and will auto pop up the virtual keyboard for you when it detects you clicking on a text input box like the address bar or web forms.
