Came back to find sp3 restarted- Question

Had my sp3 on and plugged in all day since early am. At one point after not using it for an hour or so I came back to see it has restarted, I check the System Event log to the favorite:
Event ID: 41 - "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly." No other real info, and there was no dump file generated.

I am thinking if this was due to it possibly overheating or not. How can I find out what caused this reboot?
My first sp3 had many restarts like this so I swapped it back for this one that has been running great since June.

Sounds like the same thing I had, the entry before was a bug check ... info submitted to MS.

Might be related to the patches that were pulled see ...

I really hope so I had enough of the drama with this thing At some point you just want a stable machine.

If it just happens the one time, I'd chalk it up to a fluke. If it happens more than that... maybe time for a reset?
