So I have had my Surface Book just two weeks and already I have managed to break an SD Card off in the slot.. totally my own fault but it managed to leave the lower half inside the Book and render the whole slot as useless...
Phone Microsoft and got nowhere but an endless loop of nowhere.
Lucky for me, their UK headquarters is just down the road.. so I popped in, spoke to a nice lady in reception on Monday morning.. got an email reply from their Customer Advocacy Team, and today they have arranged for me to exchange my broken base unit for a new one..
That is pretty good in my books and I am very grateful for their help.. but a note to all, be careful with SD cards sticking out when you are moving the Book around and in and out of tight briefcases..
