Connected standby

Does anybody know how to turn on connected standby ? Hyper v is not enabled and I still cannot use connected standby.

Just checking here, but how do you know you can't enable it? On the Sp3, generally, the first 4 hours of sleep is connected standby. So just close the cover, or press the power button, and you should be in connected standby.

Oh, I guess it's because I never receive any email updates while it is sleeping. What exactly is connected standby ?
