Home Group

[Snake Doctor]

When I decided to replace my pc with my Surface Pro 2 I wanted to be able to connect with my pc and setup home group and all was well.

Now I cannot get my surface pro 2 to recognize my pc which is a windows 7 pro. I read somewhere that windows 8.1 will not play with Windows 7 pc as a home group.

Is that true?

Any suggestions??

Not true, my Surface RT and my SP3 BOTH connect to my win 7 desktop homegroup... funny thing with the homegroup, you FIRST have to join via WiFi, then you can connect via cable... other that maybe you have to disconnect from all the homegroup and then renew the homegroup...
