IBM USB Portable Secure JHard Drive

I have an IBM Lenovo Thinkpad USB Portable Secure Hard Drive that is supported by Windows RT but isn't recognized when attached to the surface. Does anyone else have this type of drive and if so are you able to see it in Windows RT?
