Is the Typecover approximately Universal?

For reasons I do not know, I seem to have an extra one. It works fine on a Surface RT. The only apparent unique identifier is on the connection bar and is in numbers so small I can't read them (without a magnifying glass, which I don't have handy).
If you think it is and will resolve my quandary, I will mail it to you.

The typecover that came with my used Surface Go 1 works fine with my Surface Go 3.
