Keyboard not working on SP4 HELP...!!!

Purchased a new SP4 and a new Type Cover for it. After receiving it I got it all hooked up and the keyboard would not work. Dealt with surface support and went through all the troubleshooting solutions. In the end they sent me a new Type Cover which I just received 20 min ago. Hooked it up and still nothing.. Am doing something wrong? I was under the impression that you just let the magnets connect and it is suppose to work..

First question. Do you have ALL the updates? With the type cover attached!

Yes, I have all of the updates installed..
