MS Surface Charger Indicator ?

When we plugin the charger to the surface, there is the litttle white LED on the charger, when fully charged, does the light change? if not then MS should make it change from red to white or something to show its fully charged without us having to check.

also are there any apps for battery life?.

I agree that it would be nice if the light on the charger changed to reflect the status. As for apps, none that I have seen. Of course a quick swipe from the right side of the screen will show the battery meter.

Well, it is somehow useful to be able to see the “meter”, but I would love to have a percentage shown…

I agree that it would be nice if the battery meter was configurable. I like where it is, since it's just a swipe away regardless of what I'm doing. Handy without taking up unnecessary space.
