I got this router two days ago and it gives a rock solid connection. No connections drops or issues whatsoever.
I was also able to successfully set-up VPN from this router. It is unfortunate that this router can only do either OpenVPN and PPTP only (though not simultaneous). I am forced to use the less secure PPTP due to OpenVPN compatibility issues with mobile devices.
LAN Connection Speed - 866.5Mbps at 5G and 120Mbps at 2.4G from a distance of 15 feet in an apartment complex setting with dozens of other WIFIs.
If not for my VPN needs, my 2 year old Linksys EA4500 (after several updates) still serves its purpose: stable and no problems.
