Onscreen keyboard

I have noticed that when typing with my Surface Pro 3 onscreen keyboard some keys don't register and have to be pressed again. It seems to happen only when I am typing on line but not off line.

Does anyone else have this issue? Can anyone explain it?

Try typing in a local app like Word or notepad and see if any of the keys miss-step. I suspect that it is just a delay in response from the website you're on and not a problem with the virtual keyboard. Does it do it on multiple sites?

Bluegrass, thank you for your input. Some keystrokes seem not to register when I am using the onscreen keyboard online, such as on the search bar of a browser or on Facebook. You said you suspected this could be due to a delay in response from the website. I wonder why it will never happen when using the type keyboard. Is there any logical explanation for this?

My only guess would be that the virtual keyboard goes though a lot more software hoops before it get's translated into a keystroke being sent than a real keyboard key depression does.
