Pen Help with Touch Screen

My pen on my Surface Pro 4 i5 8/256 has me frustrated.

It does not work with the touch screen.

It does open Notes when I click the top.

I've deleted and paired it several times.

I've performed a hard reboot.

Don't know what else to try..

Welcome to the forum

The pen may need the hard reboot. Take the battery out for 5 minutes then put it back. Also try pulling the tip out and reinserting it.
