Pen not working

My Surface pros (gen 1) pen has stopped working. In device manager it is saying
Wacom Device
This device cannot start. (Code 10)


It was working fine until I updated to the creators addition of windows.

I've reinstalled the most recent Wacom drivers and deleted and reinstalled the driver using device manager which hasn't helped.

Any other ideas out there?

I am really not being a smartbutt here - Does your Surface Pen go into pairing mode? Does the battery need replacement? I only ask because this happened to me. I dropped my pen one to many times and it stopped working all together. With a separate pen, I needed a new battery - once replaced, my pen worked fine. You can also try uninstalling / reinstalling the Surface Pro drivers from here: Download Surface Pro 4 Drivers and Firmware from Official Microsoft Download Center

Make sure to reboot in-between the driver updates. Let us know what the issue was when / if you get it figured out - I am definitely curious as to what the issue is. Thanks in advance -
