printer options

I have been getting acquainted with the surface rt for the last two months. I would like to add a wireless printer. What do I look for and is easy to set up? The printer is strictly for home use, printing bank statements and such. My operating system is 8.1. Also something to keep in mind, it must also work with my wife's laptop which is capable of operating wireless.

I have a Brother HL-2270DW laser. Inexpensive and works well with my Surface 2, two laptops and a desktop.
