Replacing Surface Pro (1st Gen) Kickstand with Surface Pro 2 (2nd Gen, Dual Position)

I love my Suface Pro, but the kickstand is a bugger due to my size, it's never the right view angle with my Type Cover ...

I saw on ifixit that replacing the kickstand is pretty easy. Can it be replaced with the kickstand from the Surface 2 ? Does it need to be replace with the whole back cover ? Anyone did it ? Where can you buy this parts ?

This has been discussed before, basically it's going to be almost impossible. The entire mechanism has changed. If you search around the forum you'll find diagrams showing exactly what has changed.
