Sensitivity Surface Pro 4 pen tip

For my Surface 3 I have a Surface Pro 4 pen, but I have no pen loop attached to my type cover. So, I was planning on putting the pen in my laptop bag in a narrow pocket that is designed for a normal pen. I am wondering if that will destroy the tip of the SP4 pen.
Any ideas?
