I don't see much sense in making the Mini until there's greater adoption of the Surface.

Today I went into an Apple store -- do not spit on me, my better half sold her soul to Cuppertino a few years ago -- and dammit I am dreaming to one day (soon if possible) have in my hands a Surface Mini.

Any news about a future release, for real this time ?
