Surface Pro 3 and USB Cellular Data

Hello,

I am looking at the Surface Pro 3 and would like to stay with Verizon for my data. I am trying to find out if the Surface Pro will accept / support a USB Cellular data device.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and will allow me to finally toss my iPad out the window.

You can also get a mobile hotspot, and not deal with a dongle hanging off your device:

I actually have a mobile hotspot, it's old, but it does have 4G. That may be the way to go. Thank you
