Microsoft today revealed Surface revenue increased to $1.1 billion in Q2 2015, driven mainly by Surface Pro 3 and its accessories. The company also revealed phone hardware revenue of $2.3 billion, thanks to 10.5 million Lumia units sold in the quarter.
It corresponds to approximately 1 million units of the Surface.
Surface revenue of $1.1 billion, up 24%.
Revenue has increased 8 percent from the same quarter last year, but net income has dropped 10 percent. Microsoft does note that it has incurred a further "$243 million of integration and restructuring expenses" related to the Nokia phone business purchase, which explains part of the drop.
