What you mean making more space in between the buttons? That's hardly comparable to creating a fully touch optimised version of Office.

Well I'm using it on a SP2, isn't that touch? I have huge fingers and I'm not having issues.

It is a nuanced difference, Office 2013 has a "Touch Mode" which is different from "Touch First" (i.e. designed from the ground up to use via touch, including navigating the Settings, etc.).

If you look at OneNote MX and Lync Mobile that is the feel for Office Gemini at least from the leaked screenshots....
