Is there a way to lock the tiles so that my kids can't inadvertently install my apps. Let my 6 year old play some games today and all my tiles got moved around.

I don't believe so but there's a great work-around. Create a user account for your son and only let him use your RT when logged in to that account. Settings - Change PC settings - Users - Add a user
