Touch Cover clicking sound

This is driving me crazy. How can I turn off the clicking sound that comes off everytime I strike a key on touch cover? I've contacted MS by chat and they have no idea what to do. I've bought a new bluetooth keyboard so I don't get the sound, but I'm travelling and I only have touch cover.


Any idea???

Well, smartass, I've tried that, Microsoft tried that. It just DON'T work.

I guess that If I was stupid enough to post for help before Google for it, I would not be a Surface Pro owner.

Chill. I was just stating the obvious to start off, whereas most people don't bother searching beforehand.

It's not like you mentioned trying it in the original post.

Well, it's kind of obvious that Microsoft would direct me to the official guide.

Turn the option off then remove and re-add the keyboard. Also try rebooting af the software change is made. I remember I had to do something extra to get mine to turn off properly. Its just been a while.
