Touch keyboard function keys

I would like to be able to access function keys from the on-screen touch keyboard. Answers from Google, Bing and co-pilot all talk about using the Fn key. However on my keyboard, there is only Ctrl, Window, and Alt. Am I missing something?

Open the onscreen keyboard, then select the upper left keyboard icon. The keyboard that you want will be the third one.

No keyboard icons present. In the upper left I have the settings icon (gear) and box with heart (for emogies, fomulaes and such)

Are you on Win10?
I see the keyboard icon in Win10, but not in Win11.

I found it in Win11.
In the upper left gear icon> Keyboard Layout>Traditional. The FN key well be there.
