Updates - Yay or Nay

Just a quickie, my Surface 3 which is less than a week old is screaming at me to do a gazillion updates.
Have you all updated and has it all been good as we all know Windows updates can sometimes make things go a bit wonk and even slow systems down.
How has it been for all you guys n gals

i installed updates as normal. Ive never seen a reason not to update.

You really should update. Some are for security, some stability, some for bug fixes.

Updating was one of the first things I did when I got my S3 and started setting it up.

There was one round of updates a week after I got my S3 which was particularly odious. But, I did it, and no issues.

As long as your internet speed is decent it doesn't take too long. A couple of restarts and I was done.
