I noticed it when I uploaded an image for Microsoft to view. It only had a few typos, so not bad.

Look at the 2 circles with the arrow between them....one circle is an online article and the other is extracted text via OCR (the 3rd Circle)

Apparently not, I just tried it . Search finds normal text files but not embedded text.

But it can be copied into OneNote and then it would be searchable....

Oh, it's wonderful, onedrive provides the free ocr freature now, don't need any other third part ocr plug-in.
