While BlueStacks runs within Windows, it would be nice to be able to dual boot right into Android or Windows (8).

Aside from ConsoleOS which isn't out yet http://consoleos.com/, does anyone know if you can do this?

You would be trying to open a can of worms. I can't even list all the possible problems starting with drivers and ending with secure boot.

Exactly what Lee said, the drivers issue alone I think would make my brain bleed....

The drivers will be completely integrated in Console OS.

I don't dual boot, I run Android in a VM. android-x86.org, andyroid.net and one or two others seem to work pretty well. If you're into gaming it may not give you the best frame rate though.

Genymotion is a VM too, but it gave me smoother experience than BlueStacks.

Here a video I did on DuOS. It runs android 4.2 very smooth on the surface pro 3, almost like it's a native OS.
