Miracast upscaling of resolution to 4K

Hi,

we were testing out miracast from one laptop to another with a DELL QHD monitor connected to it. The miracast worked fine, but on the DELL monitor the miracast looked grainy.

My question is if the Surface hub upscales the miracast session to 4k so it doesn't look as grainy as on a normal monitor?

Hi TimDB,
In my experience with the 3 Hubs we have here, the miracast is not upscaled. We have exerienced some quite bad quality casting from older machines. Obviously the latest and greatest Win 10 machines look great, but that's as expected.

i did some testing in the meantime and I also noticed a difference in quality casting between older and newer machines.
