I verified and my version is actually lower than the one posted. I wonder why it has not been released yet...

These types of Hotfixes are typically released this way to address a specific issue that not everyone is facing and haven't been a tested as fixes that are released via Windows Update.

It will eventually be released as a Firmware Update.

FYI, got a separate notice, this supposedly fixes the ACPI bug where coming out of sleep locks IRQ and stuff to 20% cpu.... I was one of the folks that reported this. Will be testing soon.
