:)Lol.... yeah, my first one. Heading to Texas soon.... wondering if I should get insurance. Wife says I look mean and at 6'3" and mostly muscle I shouldn't worry, but they have GUNS down yonder ! But I like the vertical style... much easier to deal with in crowded places and lines. Plus the padding for the surface is damn thick and soft. Small footprint too... tired of 15" bags.

Now that is a man purse.

That is my problem with most of the cases I have found. I have seen some truly fantastic looking cases, and in the pictures it looks great. Strap over your shoulder, job done. Then you come across a picture of someone wearing it and remember its a 12" tablet. They all just look absurd in use unless you're a woman or very very small. I'm just going to settle for something like the targus sleevy case, and a regular sized backpack or shoulder bag.

Does it fit w the type cover?

I'm thinking it should. In the photos they are using a MacBook Air, which I'm thinking I should be fine using it with my Surface Pro 3. It's currently being shipped, and should arrive within a few days.

Do you think the AmazonBasics 11.6-Inch Laptop Sleeve sleeve will work? In the reviews someone mentioned it worked with the Galaxy Pro 12 and it seems to have similar dimensions as the SP3.

I ordered one (actually 3, one in cyan, one in red and one in purple) that has the same dimensions as the Amazon Basics Sleeve and it was really...really tight and if you are using the pen loop it was wide enough...

Thanks. The EveCase 11.6 ~ 12.5 inch also looks promising but it falls onto the little to large spectrum (12.50in x 8.50 x 1.00in). Which is better a snug or loose fit?

If its a tad wider I find that's OK as long as it is narrow to allow for a snug fit, we're about a week or so from seeing the first sleeves designed for the SP3....
