AMD President Accidentally Reveals Windows 10 Release Timeframe

Editor in Chief

Oops! That's what AMD's CEO, Lisa Su, probably said after a recent comment during a conference call. Su accidentally let slip the planned release time-frame for the final build of Windows 10. According to her reveal, Windows 10 will ship sometime at the end of July.

Here is her direct quote,
“What we are are factoring in is, you know, with the Windows 10 launch at the end of July, we are watching sort of the impact of that on the back-to-school season, and expect that it might have a bit of a delay to the normal back-to-school season inventory build-up,”

It's thrilling to think that Windows 10 will hit in just a few months! Microsoft is really turning things around!

I think this was sorta out there already and lines up with the other big news about the Back-to-School PC market. It's always been there but the industry has always been geared toward Holiday Shopping season but with declining sales they cannot ignore the elephant on the doorstep any longer.
