Surface is getting a bunch of press the past week. And the opinions how to fix it continue. I just think of the arm chair quarterback analogy....

To a degree, I agree with you. I think, though, that the author of this article has a good point—MS needs to move forward more quickly & surely. They can correct those things needing correcting as they go along, but move product in the meantime! I know they've dug a hole for themselves, but they're big enough to climb out, fill in the hole somewhat, and move onward and upward. There's always more to be said, but basically MS needs to think and act like the tech giant they really are. Decisiveness opposed to wandering and stumbling around will change the game in a lot of people's minds.
